MaxiMyo

The MaxiMyo team have been involved with EMS for almost twenty years, designing and manufacturing market leading aesthetic devices for toning and as an aid to slimming with the pioneering ‘inch loss’ concept. Over this time it has been adopted by many clinics and all too often has encouraged ‘me-too’ competitor devices which have been rigorously reviewed as they have promised similar effects. However all have failed to mirror the effectiveness and success of MaxiMyo.

As mentioned before, after many instances of its healing effects being reported by many clients, it was decided in 2007, that a devices suitable for medical applications should be developed. Market leading medical and health service operational expertise was combined with this background knowledge and thus MaxiMyo was conceived.

In the late summer of 2008 after 2 years in development the MaxiMyo 10 received its required medical approval as a class IIa medical device. The company achieving the required ISO:13485 quality approved design manufacturing certification.

The company has undergone a number of trials to support its claims, pilot trials for female incontinence, multiple sports injuries and the usual type of Physiotherapy conditions have seen positive results and more substantial trials, including Lymphoedema and MS are in the planning stages.

The combination of almost twenty years experience manufacturing and designing EMS devices, together with a strong medical team the company can offer sound and practical methodology for the efficient treatment of many muscle conditions, either direct or through its clinical treatment network.
